Book launch event for ‘People People’

On 1 May 2025, we hosted a book launch party to officially celebrate People People: Reach Your Full Potential as a CHRO, and what a night it was.

The weather was unseasonably hot, so it was lucky that the event was hosted at the meaningful (and air conditioned) setting of Queer Britain in London. The event brought together a group of incredible guests; a mix of clients, old friends, new connections, and even one very special international guest who joined us all the way from New York City (thank you Steve Salee, it was fantastic to finally meet you in person).

The evening was filled with conversation, connection, and celebration. I talked about the inspiration for the book and even read a few pages to bring it to life. We discussed the evolving role of the CHRO, shared personal reflections, and explored what it really means to lead with purpose, empathy, and impact in today’s world of work.

Thank you to everyone who came to the book launch, supported, and made it a truly memorable party. Your energy and enthusiasm made the pages of this book come to life. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the book, your kind words, shares, reviews have all helped make it a success.

If you haven’t yet got your copy of People People, now’s the time to request one. And despite the title, I’m getting lots of feedback to suggest that it’s not just for HR leaders. There are some key insights that will help anyone aspiring to or operating in senior leadership roles.

So here’s to reaching your full potential, and helping others do the same.
